About Sarah White

Something about me!

Sarah White was introduced to clay shooting about 20 years ago at the summer barbecue of her local shoot and was instantly hooked. Soon, she was helping at corporate events at a major shooting ground before progressing into coaching. Along the way, she qualified as a coach, holding APSI, CPSA and LANTRA coaching qualifications with ancillary qualifications in gun fit, loading and safety officer.

Almost ten years ago, she started her own shotgun coaching business, Game Bird Shooting (all puns intended), based near Guildford, Surrey, with the CPSA recognising her achievements by awarding her the Coach of the Year in 2015.

When not coaching, Sarah is a passionate international clay shot with notable success using her trusted Blaser F3 Vantage. Her international career has taken her to countries ranging from Hungary and Portugal to Cyprus and the Netherlands. Capped a dozen times, 11 for England and Great Britain FITASC Shooting and 1 for England English Sporting, among her international awards, she has won European silver and World bronze medals and the English Sporting International Ladies Title. Nationally, shooting English Sporting, she was a member of the 2021 gold-winning Ladies’ team and personally overall Home Nations and England Ladies High Gun. In 2022, she was the England FITASC team Ladies High Gun. On numerous occasions, she’s held various Surrey County Ladies titles, including awards for English Sporting, FITASC Sporting, FITASC Compak, Sportrap and All Round.

The competition season is almost over; she’s won a silver medal at the English Open FITASC Sporting and a bronze at the Super Sporting World Championships, with many County titles added this year.
