We are looking at having 20 guns, split into two teams of 10 guns. There will be four drives, all around the "mountain". Meet at the shoot lodge for a light lunch from 1 pm, drive to the mountain with refreshments after two drives, a further two drives and then a barbecue to finish – the day should be over by 6 pm. The cost will be £185 per gun. Soft drinks will be available all afternoon, but if you want to bring some alcohol for the barbecue, feel free to do so. Please bring your cartridges – a slab of 250 per person is probably enough – as we won't have any available unless you ask us beforehand. Chip and I will be hovering with advice if needed, although our regular banter will be in abundance.

Poets Day has joined Bisley Gun Club for the afternoon for a unique opportunity to shoot DTL in a non-registered competition.

I am delighted to invite you to join Bisley Gun Club on a DLT (Down The Line) GBS Competition.

We have two squads of five Poets - both squads starting at 12.30. Although this is a registered shoot we have arranged for a birds only event so Chip and myself are allowed to coach.

You will shoot 50 targets then have a break of about an hour and then another 50. Complete DTL novices welcome.

Bisley Gun Club have kindly offered 250 cartridges for the top GBS shot and with a GBS High Gun trophy its all to play for. We are limited to 10 Poets on a first booked basis.
