Services

We offer many great services

Lessons

Instruction may be one-to-one or in small groups. We tailor our lessons to suit your experience and requirements.

Typically this may include gun handling, shooting environment, eye dominance and gun fit to achieve safe and successful shooting.

As GBS is not tied to any particular shooting ground, we are able to choose those that are appropriate for your level of skill and experience. Although not always possible, we try to coach at grounds local to you and suited to your mobility.

With all shooting equipment provided, all you need is to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

Clients control of the amount of targets thrown. Typically, a one-hour beginner’s first lesson may use up to 50 clays and cartridges, building to an experienced lesson shooting over 100. However, no limits are imposed on usage, unless agreed in advance.

GBS Game Shooting

GBS offers tuition and advice to game shooters and to clay target shots wishing to experience shooting game.

Before and during the game season 'tune-up' sessions are available, using clays in simulated game situations. A couple of hours with an instructor shooting clays in these conditions often makes considerable difference to the enjoyment of the day. Alongside these services, GBS offers advice on shooting etiquette, what to wear and where to buy it and undertakes countrywide in-field loading and coaching.

GBS Shooting Events

The GBS team has a wealth of experience organising and running shooting related events.

Clay shooting provides a fun day out for groups of friends and families and is increasingly popular with corporate clients. No experience of shooting is required as all shooting equipment and instruction is provided.

Other activities may be included, such as archery, fly fishing and black powder. Why not give Sarah White a call to discuss you requirements?

In addition, we've gained a reputation for running events for our clients to meet and share their experiences as well as receiving group instruction. These vary from a full day at a shooting ground to our increasingly popular monthly POETS day and bi-monthly Mainstone Masters
